New Year's Eve with First Night® Missoula is filled with theater, dance, artists, poetry readings, plays, comedy, music, food, and family entertainment.
Missoula Arts & Humanities Coalition
Unites all segments of the cultural community, serves as an information center and advocacy network. In addition to over 70 major cultural organizations, Missoula also benefits from a wide range of activities at the University of Montana and other local educational institutions.
The Missoula Cultural Council also supports activities by local ethnic heritage groups and produces the annual Germanfest celebration each September.
Developing a year-around program of arts, heritage, and entertainment activities that appeal to the "high-value" tourist.
A wide variety of activities linking Missoula to Neckargemünd, Germany, and Palmerston, North New Zealand, as well as other international relations.
These awards honor individuals and businesses whose outstanding work in the arts and humanities have made a significant contribution to the community’s quality of life.
